Don’t Miss Limited-Time D23 Offerings at Disneyland Resort
Before D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event kicks off in Anaheim, guests are invited to the first-ever D23 Day at Disneyland Resort on August 8, 2024. This one-day event promises a celebration filled with offerings inspired by Disney history, beloved classics, and new favorites.
As part of the festivities, the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party in Disney California Adventure park on August 8 will offer fun-filled entertainment and activities for families. Guests with valid theme park admission and reservations, including D23: The Official Disney Fan Club Members and D23 Event attendees, are welcome to join the celebration. D23 Day Extravaganza
D23 Day at Disneyland Resort precedes the exciting updates to be announced globally during Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at the Honda Center on August 10. This event, part of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, will feature musical performances and surprise guest appearances, celebrating Disney’s connection to its fans.
The ultimate kickoff party will feature a themed cavalcade at 12:15 p.m. in Disneyland park, showcasing the famous Disneyland Band and 23 characters, including select Disney Legends. Guests will receive complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hats, featuring the D23 Day logo, upon entering Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park, while supplies last.
Throughout the day, guests can encounter beloved characters making limited-time appearances. From Goofy and Max in Mickey’s Toontown to Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear at Pixar Pier, there will be many special moments to capture.
Dance, Music, and Merchandise
Tomorrowland Terrace at Disneyland park will host an energetic dance party with Stitch and friends from 1-6 p.m., followed by live music from Suburban Legends from 7-11 p.m.
A special merchandise collection celebrating the 25th anniversary of “Tarzan” will debut at Disneyland Resort on August 8. Available at Disneyana, Off the Page, and WonderGround Gallery, these items are sure to be cherished by fans. Additionally, new medallions featuring the D23 Day logo will be available for purchase from August 8-11.
Unique photo locations, illusion art installations, and a commemorative guide with 23 activities will enhance the celebratory experience. The Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party will include a parade featuring Disney Jr.’s Ariel, making her Disney Parks debut, along with live performances and interactive activities.

The Downtown Disney District will also partake in the festivities with discounts, unique entertainment, and special offers for D23 Members from August 4-11. Guests can enjoy happy hour events at Naples Ristorante e Bar on August 9 and 10, and the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party will continue from August 9-11 at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.
