Disneyland’s Hungry Bear Restaurant, a long-time favorite for its burgers and funnel cakes, is undergoing a major transformation. Rebranded as the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, the eatery will now serve a robust selection of barbecue dishes while incorporating a lively musical element inspired by the former Country Bears attraction.
The new concept, set to debut soon, promises a blend of traditional barbecue fare and engaging entertainment. The original Country Bears attraction, which delighted park-goers from 1972 to 2001, will now inspire the restaurant’s atmosphere. This shift comes as Walt Disney World in Florida also reintroduces its version of the Country Bears, marking a nostalgic return to beloved park elements.
A New Barbecue Era
Disneyland has been without a dedicated barbecue venue since the closure of Big Thunder Barbecue, which made way for the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge expansion. The Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree aims to fill this gap with a menu featuring a range of smoked meats and Southern-style sides.

Funnel Cake Fries dusted with powdered sugar will offer a sweet treat for those looking to indulge.
On the beverage front, the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree will introduce several unique drink options.
