The return of the D23 fan event to the Anaheim Convention Center runs from Friday, August 9 to Sunday, August 11. This sold-out event features exhibits, panels, presentations, and shopping opportunities centered around Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.
No Ticket Needed for Free Mickey Ears
Visitors don’t need tickets to the sold-out D23 event to snag their free Mickey ears at Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. All that’s required is a valid ticket or an annual pass, along with a reservation to one of the parks.
The thrill of receiving a complimentary gift is heightened by the fact that these Mickey hats are a cherished souvenir. However, it’s important to note that the D23 hats cannot be personalized with embroidery.
D23 Day Parade and Entertainment Lineup
The entertainment on D23 Day kicks off with a Disney Junior parade at 10:30 a.m. in Disney California Adventure. The parade will feature a special one-day appearance by the Disney Junior version of Ariel.
At Disneyland, a D23 cavalcade will take place at 12:15 p.m., showcasing the Disneyland Band, 23 Disney characters, and several Disney Legends attending the fan convention.
Throughout both parks, D23 photo locations will be set up for visitors to capture memorable moments. Goofy and Max will appear in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland, while Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear can be found at DCA’s Pixar Pier.
Live Performances and Dance Parties
DCA’s Hollywood Backlot Stage will host Disney Junior-themed live performances and cupcake decorating sessions throughout the day. Meanwhile, Disneyland’s Tomorrowland Terrace will be the hub for dance enthusiasts, featuring a Stitch dance party from 1-6 p.m. and a performance by the Suburban Legends ska punk band from 7-11 p.m.
In addition, Disney’s Photopass service will be available free of charge to all theme park visitors on Thursday, regardless of whether they are attending the D23 event or not.
As Disneyland and Disney California Adventure prepare for this special day, fans can look forward to an immersive experience filled with magic, entertainment, and exclusive giveaways. This first-ever D23 Day is set to be a memorable event for all Disney enthusiasts.
